Thunderstorms?

Today (Thursday), tomorrow, and Saturday all hold promise of some thunderstorm activity according to the models. The combination of moisture, warmth, and lifting mechanisms (a "normal" cold front passage tonight and a couple of "backdoor" cold fronts over the weekend) provide at least a chance for boomers. None of the other conditions for severe weather appear to be present, however, so there shouldn't be any warnings to worry about. But, I will be ready to chase!
