This video clip is from May 8th 2008 and was taken during my storm chase near Palmyra VA, southeast of Charlottesville. Now why would this qualify as something Fredericksburg should be concerned with? The supercell that produced this evening tornado near Palmyra continued on its path northeastward and less than 3 hours later spawned another tornado - an EF2 - in Stafford county, damaging homes in the England Run subdivision well after dark.
More reasons to participate in the upcoming statewide tornado drill on March 20th!!
