The setup for Wednesday morning is beginning to get interesting. Granted, whatever storms may be forced by the approaching cold front will occur near daybreak, but the shear values are impressive as well as the available moisture. I may have to get up earlier than normal and be ready to head out if conditions warrant. How cool would a December 1st chase be?!!

I am (was) planning on biking into work that day. I may instead get my chase on. I'm waiting for the RUC to show our area ahead of the FoPa after sunrise.
If this timing verifies in tomorrow evening's short range model runs I can see myself sipping on some coffee while parked at a favorite intercept spot in eastern Stafford county.
WRF (http://www.emc.ncep.noaa.gov/mmb/mpyle/cent4km/conus/00/) is showing the last line crossing our area at 1100UTC(0600ET). Sunrise is at 0708ET.
